Ingredients

  • 2 oz Rye
  • 1 oz Sweet red vermouth
  • 2 dashes bitters
  • 2 Amarena cherries for garnish
  • 1 tsp Amarena cherry syrup
  • 1 cup ice

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the rye, sweet red vermouth, and bitters.
  • Shake or stir the mixture for about 20 seconds until well chilled.
  • Pour a teaspoon of Amarena cherry syrup into the bottom of your serving glass and gently coat the base.
  • Strain the chilled cocktail into the prepared glass.
  • Skewer two Amarena cherries and garnish. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

  • Bourbon can be substituted for rye if you prefer a slightly sweeter, softer profile.
